HIALEAH, Fla. — A security guard fought back during an attempted robbery at a Hialeah cafeteria early Monday morning.
Around 3 a.m., two men — one of them armed and wearing a mask — approached El Palacio de los Jugos, located at 2393 W. 78th St., police said. One of the men pulled a gun on the security guard, who was sitting on a chair in the parking lot. Surveillance videos shows the guard kick the gun out of the man’s hand and draw his own gun. The guard can then be seen firing two shots as the men ran away.
